Yolmer Sanchez Batting Cleanup Friday
7 years agoChicago White Sox utility man Yolmer Sanchez is batting cleanup and playing second base on Friday against the Cubs. Sanchez, 25, is currently riding a seven-game hitting streak. An undersized utility man is a strange choice to bat cleanup, but the White Sox have struggled as of late and manager Rick Renteria seems to be of the mind to shake things up. Sanchez has surprisingly improved to a level of mixed league relevance this season. He's sporting a .302/.338/.452 slash line, has stolen three bags and is tied for the MLB lead with four triples. Multi-position eligibility makes him a worthwhile add to your bench.
