7 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura went 4-for-6 with two runs scored in the Mariners 9-3 win Thursday over the Blue Jays. On a night when the team gave leadoff man Dee Gordon a breather, Segura stepped in and delivered a huge game at the plate. Segura now has multi-hit games in three of his past five games and is 10-for-26 (.384) during this stretch. Segura will not walk much but continues to rack up the hits. For the season, Segura is hitting .325 with one triple, two home runs, 12 doubles, 25 runs driven in and 26 runs scored this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
