7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Derek Fisher has two home runs in his last two games played and now has three hits in his last nine at-bats. It has been a struggle to stay consistent for the young Fisher, but he flashed his potential when one of those long balls traveled 447 feet. Fisher is one of the fastest players on the field and Houston would love nothing more than if he would take the starting spot in left field and run with it. Fisher's average may only be .194, but he is slugging .447 and eight of his 12 hits this season have gone for extra bases. Fisher lacks any kind of fantasy appeal right now outside of perhaps dynasty leagues and AL-only formats, but more production would certainly give him a steadier stream of consistent at-bats moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
