7 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marco Estrada may have rebounded against the Tampa Bay Rays last Sunday, but that doesn’t make him a good play on Saturday against the Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox are a different animal than Tampa, and Estrada won’t get away with the same mistakes. Despite not allowing any earned runs against the Rays, Estrada walked four batters while striking out only three. It was his second consecutive outing where Estrada could only manage three punch-out’s against one of the weaker offenses in baseball. If Estrada is going to continue to walk hitters while striking out only a few, great offenses like the Red Sox are going to take advantage, and that’s a bad recipe for fantasy purposes.--John Smith
