BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 21% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Rays infielder Daniel Robertson is hitting a very respectable .279 this season, but his eye is what puts him on the fantasy radar. Those in OBP leagues should pay close attention to Robinson, as he has walked 22 times this season and has a .436 OBP.
The high walk total has inflated his OPS this season (.890), but he has also hit three home runs and seven doubles, serving as a protypical top of the lineup table setter for the Rays. The 24-year-old former first round pick by Oakland may be a bad spot for regression, evidenced by a 33.3% hard hit ball rate and .368 BABIP, but he has also hit 23.3% line drives this season. If he continues to stroke line drives, he has upside as a player with an OBP in the mid .350s and 25-30 doubles.
While his profile is not terribly attractive, he can play all over the infield and also has CI/MI eligibility. His value has never been higher as well, as Robinson Cano could miss up to two months with a broken hand, and Robinson can fill in as a suitable replacement.
