7 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is in the midst of a rare slump heading into Monday night's action against the Angels. Over his last 52 at-bats, Altuve is slashing a meager .212/.255/.327 with five extra-base hits and zero home runs. He currently has zero hits over his last 13 at-bats and has been uncharacteristically chasing pitches all over the zone. This valley of production will not last forever but certainly is surprising for a player who has been slump-proof for several seasons now.--Joey C - RotoBaller
