7 years agoHouston Astros utility player Marwin Gonzalez continues to struggle this season and is slashing only .214/.267/.286 over his last 42 at-bats. It was at this time last season when Gonzalez really burst on the scene, hitting .382 with seven home runs and 22 runs batted in through 76 May at-bats. Gonzalez has done a decent job of driving in runs but isn't hitting the ball with the type of authority that led to him driving in a team-high 90 runs in 2017. He still has time to turn it around but has been one of the bigger fantasy disappointments to this point. He will try and snap an 0-for-16 streak this week when the Astros open up a series with Angels, beginning Monday night.--Joey C - RotoBaller
