6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Ervin Santana (finger) appears to be inching his way back to the big leagues. Santana threw live batting practice for the first time on Monday. The Twins are expecting to be able to have him make a start in extended spring training soon, perhaps as early as the coming week. Santana has been sidelined all season after having surgery on his right middle finger this past February. If all goes smoothly, Santana could be back in the Twins' rotation by mid-June.--Matt T - RotoBaller
