6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jake Odorizzi pitched six scoreless innings against the Seattle Mariners on Monday but had to settle for a no-decision as his team was shut out. Odorizzi allowed just four hits while striking out seven in the ballgame. The veteran right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.35 over his nine starts while posting a 45/21 K/BB ratio. Odorizzi's FIP, xFIP, and SIERA are all at least a full run higher than his ERA but the 28-year-old has generally outperformed those metrics over his career, so that shouldn't be of too much concern. He should remain a decent, low-end fantasy starting pitcher going forward.--Matt T - RotoBaller
