7 years agoLos Angeles Angels pitching prospect Griffin Canning has now been a part of two combined no-hitters this season for the Double-A Mobile Bay Bears. Canning is the Angels seventh-ranked prospect. He has a 1.95 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 27 2/3 innings since coming up to Double-A. He started the year at High-A Inland Empire but was promoted after a pair of scoreless outings. Canning is unlikely to see the big leagues this season but is a great dynasty pickup after his hot start to the season.--patton
