7 years agoFor the third time this season and second time by the Yankees, relief pitcher David Hale has been designated for assignment on Tuesday. The move was made to open up a spot on the roster for outfielder Clint Frazier, who was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Hale has made three appearances this season, allowing six runs on six hits and four walks with seven strikeouts over eight innings. If he was owned in any league for some reason, it's safe to drop him at this point.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
