7 years agoThe Minnesota Twins got some bad news on Wednesday, as it was revealed that starting catcher Jason Castro (knee) will miss the rest of the season. Castro went for surgery on the MCL in his injured knee on Wednesday, but doctors found the damage to be worse than originally believed. Castro was originally expected to miss four to six weeks but he wound up needing a full meniscus repair, which will end his season. Mitch Garver will take over as the team's starting catcher with Bobby Wilson getting the occasional start to spell him.--Matt T - RotoBaller
