7 years agoHouston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander will look to continue his dominance of the American League when he takes the ball against the Angels on Wednesday night. Verlander has been practically unhittable this season, allowing only 30 hits and eight earned runs through 59 1/3 innings pitched. He has struck out 77 hitters for an impressive 11.6 strikeouts per nine innings and has only walked 13 hitters. The future Hall of Famer is completely on top of his game and has not allowed a home run since April 25th.
