7 years agoSan Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman (Achilles) jogged on the field for the first time Wednesday and on a treadmill before and said he "felt great." Sherman expects to be ready for training camp in late July, but the Niners will likely be very cautious with him. The 30-year-old will be brought along slowly and could sit out the entire preseason. He proved to be an elite cover corner in his seven years with Seattle and should still be able to play at a high level provided he's over his Achilles injury and doesn't suffer any setbacks in 2018.
