7 years agoAfter allowing three runs on four hits and a walk over one inning against the Dodgers, the Miami Marlins designated reliever Junichi Tazawa for assignment following Thursday's game, according to Miami Herald writer Clark Spencer. Tazawa had allowed 21 runs (20 earned) on 28 hits and 13 walks with 24 strikeouts over 20 innings this season. Spencer also reports that reliever Tyler Cloyd was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans after allowing 16 earned runs on 24 hits and seven walks over 13 1/3 innings for Miami.
