6 years agoColorado Rockies No. 8 prospect and infielder Garrett Hampson went 3-for-5 with three runs in his Triple-A debut and could be a potential call-up to replace DJ LeMahieu at second base. LeMahieu officially broke a small bone in his hand and currently doesn't have a timetable right now, so if there's lots of time to miss, the Rockies may want to bring up someone with a higher ceiling than Pat Valaika or Daniel Castro. If Hampson continues to hit at a solid rate in Triple-A, he could be called up for starts. Hampson is a potential addition in dynasty leagues, but just keep an eye on his situation for now in all other formats.--Caden Inaba
