6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marco Estrada wasn’t at his best his last time out against the Boston Red Sox, but not many pitchers are against that team. In another difficult matchup on Friday, this time against the Oakland Athletics, Estrada was much better, though he did take the loss. In a 3-1 defeat, Estrada allowed three earned runs on seven hits across 6 2/3 innings pitched. He struck out six and didn’t issue a walk. It’s a shame Estrada was on the wrong end of this one, but fantasy owners should be happy with the performance overall. He’ll next take the hill in an easier matchup on Thursday against the Los Angeles Angels and should be started for fantasy purposes.--John Smith
