6 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle struggled in his Sunday start against the Chicago Cubs. Mahle allowed Chicago to score four runs in six innings, coughing up three homers in the process. He did salvage his fantasy performance by striking out six batters in the game but this was another disappointing outing for the youngster. Mahle has struggled to keep the ball in the park this season, allowing 13 round-trippers in his 10 starts. He has been a useful source of strikeouts, averaging just under one per inning in 2018 but that strikeout upside comes with significant downside in the run prevention department. He's shaping up as a low-end fantasy option in NL-only formats.--Matt T - RotoBaller
