6 years agoThe final box score for the New York Mets 4-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday may officially credit a save to reliever Robert Gsellman, but don’t let that fool you – he likely won’t be getting further save chances any time soon. With normal closer Jeurys Familia getting a day of rest after a save and a win over the last two days, respectively, Gsellman was simply the Mets’ reliever of choice to close out the sweep. If the Mets can start taking late leads again, Gsellman will be an excellent holds candidate – but the Mets being ahead is not something to bet on at this point.--John Smith
