6 years agoThe thought on Toronto Blue Jays infielder Yangervis Solarte has been that regression will come for him at some point soon, but the man simply won’t answer the door for it. Solarte had another big day on Sunday in a 9-2 loss to the Oakland Athletics, finishing 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. It was the 10th home run of the season for Solarte, as well as the third straight game he’s picked up multiple base hits. The Solarte detractors have a point in that his peripherals aren’t much different than his previous years; however, you’d be a fool to not ride this out when he’s been producing for nearly two months now.--John Smith
