7 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Ben Gamel has picked up his play over the last week and is 7-for-15 (.466) over his last four starts. The string of hits has brought his average up to .230, and he has also doubled, homered and driven in three runs during this span. Gamel's numbers last season are pedestrian in most fantasy circles, but he hit .275 and drove in 59 runs. He doesn't possess a lot of power, but hitters like Gamel need to pick up the slack with Robinson Cano suspended and Nelson Cruz banged up.
