Chase Anderson Puts Up Quality Start In Return
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson went six innings, giving up three hits, two runs and three walks while striking out three in the 4-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Anderson hasn't started since May 6 due to food poisoning that ended up putting him on the disabled list, opening the opportunity for Freddy Peralta to record a 13-strikeout debut. With Anderson back, he's now racked up his fifth quality start on the season and with the win against the Diamondbacks, he now owns a 4-3 record. Stats-wise, he's rocking a 3.86 ERA with 33 strikeouts in 51 1/3 innings pitched. While his K/9 is down from 8.47 last year to 5.79 this year, he still remains a must-own in all formats.
