6 years agoMinnesota Twins closer Fernando Rodney pitched a perfect ninth inning on Monday to preserve a 4-2 win over the Detroit Tigers. He did not record a strikeout en route to converting 10 saves in 13 chances this season. Rodney, who looked to be on shaky ground after blowing three saves in 17 days in mid-April, has resolidified his role as the team's closer. He should remain a solid source of saves in fantasy leagues going forward while sprinkling in a decent number of strikeouts along the way.--Matt T - RotoBaller
