7 years agoCarolina Panthers offensive coordinator Norv Turner believes that quarterback Cam Newton can be the most efficient passer in the league. Turner has been impressed with Newton's work ethic and how receptive he is in learning the new offense. Newton is coming off two down years after winning the MVP in 2015, and he'll be in a new system that will focus on more play-action and high-percentage throws. "I see Cam as a guy that can be in the mid- to high-60s in the completion percentage," Turner said. In his career, Newton has a 58.5 completion percentage. With perhaps more efficiency this year, Newton also has a better supporting cast of playmakers around him, so he could be looking at a bounce-back season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
