7 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles released linebacker Mychal Kendricks on Tuesday. Kendricks was a starting linebacker for the Super Bowl champions last season, but the cut will save the team $6 million against the salary cap if it is designated a post-June 1 release. Kendricks had one of his best NFL seasons last year, so he won't last long as a free agent. With fellow linebacker Paul Worrilow apparently suffering a serious injury on Tuesday, linebacker is a sudden area of concern for the Eagles.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
