6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Michael Pineda (elbow) threw off a mound on Wednesday morning, the first time he did so since undergoing Tommy John surgery last July 18. Pineda signed a two-year deal with Minnesota this past offseason and could be ready to join their rotation by September, at the latest, if his rehab continues to go smoothly. Pineda last pitched for the New York Yankees in 2017, making 17 starts and posting a 4.39 ERA before the injury. You can't rely on him in fantasy this season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
