6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress went 1 1/3 innings pitched, only giving up one hit while striking out none in the 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. Corey Knebel lost all of his usual control tonight and ended up allowing four base runners in only 2/3 of an inning, so Jeffress was brought in to get out a bases-loaded jam in the ninth with one out, which he did. He then finished the tenth as well, earning the win when the Brewers walked it off. This now marks Jeffress' 22nd consecutive appearance this season without giving up a run and his only run given up this season marks all the way back to April 6. Jeffress is pitching out of his mind and should be owned in all holds formats, and is a must-own reliever for those punting saves.--Caden Inaba
