6 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Matt Davidson (back) was scratched again on Saturday for back tightness. Davidson has now been left out of the starting lineup for four straight games due to his back issues. Davidson was originally penciled in the lineup to hit cleanup on Saturday but was pulled after batting practice when his back locked up on him again. Manager Rick Renteria said Davidson was still day-to-day, but a DL stint is a definite possibility at this point. Fantasy owners will miss Davidson's production, as he's launched an unexpected 11 home runs and plated 28 RBIs so far this season.--Phil Goyette
