6 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Jose Peraza went 1-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored against the Colorado Rockies on Saturday. Peraza has been mired in a slump, batting just .150 with 11 strikeouts over his past 15 games. On the season, the young infielder is hitting .243 with a .597 OPS, two homers, 12 RBI, 28 runs, and eight stolen bases. Peraza has plenty of speed but he still needs to work on becoming a more consistent hitter, making him a better fantasy option in NL-only and deeper mixed leagues.--Matt T - RotoBaller
