7 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels have designated left-hander Ian Krol for assignment. Krol threw one game for LA this year, striking out two and walking one in two innings of work. The team needed fresh arms for the upcoming series and felt Krol was expendable. The left-hander had a great year in 2016 with the Braves but had a 5.33 ERA last year and is unlikely to hold any fantasy value wherever he ends up. In a corresponding move, the team recalled reliever Akeem Morris in his place.--patton
