7 years agoLos Angeles Chargers cornerback Jason Verrett (knee) hasn't been cleared for organized team activities as he works his way back from knee surgery. If healthy, Verrett will be one of the team's starting corners on the outside. Verrett has played in only five games the last two seasons due to injuries, but before that he was one of the better cornerbacks in the league, as he compiled 47 tackles and three interceptions in 2015 with the Bolts. Already a defense on the rise, a return of a healthy Verrett could mean all the difference in the world in the secondary.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
