6 years agoThe San Diego Padres activated outfielder Hunter Renfroe (elbow) from the disabled list Monday. Renfroe will start in left field and bat cleanup against the Miami Marlins. Renfroe has been out since April 17 with right elbow inflammation and his return coincides with outfielder Franchy Cordero (forearm) going on the DL. Renfroe is slashing .200/.281/.440 with two home runs in 57 plate appearances. Expect him to share time in the corner outfield slots with Travis Jankowski, Franmil Reyes and Matt Szczur. For fantasy purposes, Renfroe is a one-dimensional source for power with limited opportunities. He should be avoided unless he gets hot and starts going yard in bunches.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
