7 years agoNew Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said wide receiver Cameron Meredith (knee) is "way ahead of schedule" in his recovery from knee surgery. Meredith missed all of last season with an ACL injury, and the 25-year-old will likely be eased into training camp and the preseason. Meredith had 66 catches for 888 yards and four touchdowns with Chicago in 2016 and has some upside remaining in New Orleans' offense with quarterback Drew Brees still around. A lot will depend on how quickly he recovers and practices with the team this summer and fall, though.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
