Noah Syndergaard Expected To Return In 10 Days
6 years agoIn what seems like a rarity, there is actually some good injury news for the New York Mets. Starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard was placed on the 10-day disabled list on Tuesday due to a strained ligament in his right index finger, but he is expected to return after the minimum amount of required time, according to manager Mickey Callaway. This vibes with what we’re already learning about Thor’s rehab process. He’s scheduled to throw a bullpen session this weekend, and it sounds like there’s a solid chance he’ll be good to go next week. It’s the Mets, though, so you can never be too sure, but overall this is good news. Seth Lugo will get a spot start in Syndergaard’s place on Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves.
