Brandon Nimmo Does It All Again For Mets
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo is getting praise from just about everywhere as of late, and he’s doing absolutely nothing to derail that hype train. In a 5-1 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Thursday, Nimmo was once again the Amazins best source of offense. He finished 2-for-4 with a home run and a double. It was Nimmo’s third straight multi-hit game, third straight with a double and fourth with at least a home run or a double. His OPS stands at a ridiculous 1.004. When outfielder Yoenis Cespedes returns, playing time will be unclear for the 25-year-old Nimmo, but how can the Mets keep him out of the lineup at this point?
