6 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored against the San Diego Padres on Friday. With the big game, Gennett is now batting .341 with 11 homers, 30 runs, and 39 RBI on the season. Many felt that Gennett would have a hard time replicating his 2017 breakout campaign but he's on pace to prove that last season wasn't an aberration. Gennett has established himself as a bonafide starting second baseman in fantasy and should remain locked into starting lineups going forward.--Matt T - RotoBaller
