6 years agoAfter exiting Friday’s game in the second inning, San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt was rushed to the hospital to be evaluated for appendicitis. If Belt were to require emergency surgery then he would have to be placed on the disabled list and likely miss at least two weeks. Belt is off to the best start in his career hitting .307 with 11 home runs and 31 RBI. Pablo Sandoval will receive the bulk of the playing time with Belt absent and can be avoided in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
