Corey Dickerson Out Of The Lineup On Sunday
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Corey Dickerson is not starting in Sunday's series finale against the St. Louis Cardinals. Although Dickerson has yet to slow down at the plate, slashing .313/.347/.490, his team's new outfield rotation has limited his playing time lately, as this is the third time he's been out of the lineup in the last week. Unfortunately for Dickerson owners, there's no end in sight for this plan. Austin Meadows and Starling Marte continue to hit well, and $35-million man Gregory Polanco has shown signs of life with the bat recently. Dickerson will likely continue to sit every few days, particularly when there's a left-handed pitcher on the mound for the opposition.
