6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitching prospect Sixto Sanchez threw his first shutout of the season on Sunday. Sanchez went seven innings and allowed two hits, two walks and struck out five for Class A Advanced Clearwater. The 19-year-old is now 4-3 with a 2.51 ERA on the season with a 1.07 WHIP. Sanchez is still a few years away from contributing at the big league level, but is a name for dynasty owners to remember and even stash as he could force his way up to the big leagues as soon as 2019.
