Brent Suter Handed Loss In Five Inning Showcase
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brent Suter went five innings, giving up three hits, two earned runs and two walks while striking out six in the 6-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox. While Suter would have been handed the loss regardless since his team ended up only scoring one run, he has pitched relatively well over his last stretch of games. In his last four starts, he has not allowed more than three runs in the 21 1/3 innings pitched along with striking out six in each appearance. While Suter may not give owners the stamina that one would expect out of a starter, he's a solid streaming option in all formats right now. He will make his next start on June 9 against the Philadelphia Phillies on the road.
