Scooter Gennett Hits Another Home Run
6 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett hit another home run on Sunday night, launching a solo shot in the eighth inning off of San Diego Padres reliever Brad Hand. The home run gives Gennett 12 on the season, along with a .342 average, .949 OPS, 31 runs, and 41 RBI. Many didn't believe Gennett could repeat his 2017 breakout but the 28-year-old is proving his doubters wrong. He has become a top fantasy option and a player to lock into starting lineups on a daily basis. He will be off on Monday before the Reds open a home series against the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday.
