7 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Ivan Nova (finger) could need a rehab start before rejoining the Pirates rotation. He threw a 32-pitch bullpen session on Sunday. He was able to throw all of his pitches and said he felt good afterwards. His next step will likely be facing hitters, so at least one rehab start is likely before he's back in the Pirates rotation. Nova is worth owning in some deeper leagues but has struggled lately, so most leagues have better options available.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
