7 years agoThe Washington Nationals selected Merritt Island High School pitcher Mason Denaburg with the 27th overall pick of the 2018 MLB draft on Monday. A spring biceps injury hurt this right-hander's draft stock, and he also was a bit behind due to playing football. However, he has a fastball that sits in the mid-90s and a solid breaking ball. He is committed to the University of Florida, where he could be a two-sport standout.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
