7 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Julio Teheran (thumb) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list. The team has called up righty pitcher Luke Jackson from Triple-A. Teheran left Monday's start against the Padres after he got jammed on a pitch while batting. He couldn't throw a strike when he came out to pitch and was pulled after walking the first batter he faced in the fifth inning. It's unclear how long the Braves plan to keep Teheran out. Most fantasy owners should hold onto him for now, because it sounds like he might only need the 10 days to recover.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
