7 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Matt Joyce (back) is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Texas Rangers. Joyce is hopeful that he can return to the lineup for Wednesday's contest. He has not played since he left Saturday's game against the Royals due to tightness in his lower back. This is not a serious issue and Joyce should not need a trip to the disabled list. However, he should not be owned in almost any leagues. He's only good for some home runs, but the waiver wire should have better options available.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
