6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar went 0-for-4 with a hat trick of strikeouts in the 3-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians. While Aguilar was facing Indians ace Corey Kluber, he has definitely slowed down at the plate. In his last seven games, Aguilar is batting .185 with two runs, one home run, two RBI and a .600 OPS. With Eric Thames (thumb) only a couple of minor league rehab games away from returning, Aguilar will most certainly lose value, as Thames' power on the bench holds little value for the Brewers. It would not come as a surprise to see Thames and Aguilar platoon against at first base, with Aguilar facing left-handed pitchers. Hang onto him for now, but expect a dip in value eventually.--Caden Inaba
