6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer and Co. will open up a series Thursday night in Texas against the Rangers. Springer has done some serious damage once the sun goes down this season, slashing .326/.391/.570 with 10 home runs, 12 doubles and 28 runs batted in through 172 at-bats in night games. Springer, however, has a stingy matchup Thursday against the Rangers expected starter Cole Hamels. In 20 career at-bats against him, Springer has only four hits, but three of those have left the yard. In eight games this season against the Rangers, Springer is 7-for-28 (.250) with three home runs and five runs batted in.--Joey C - RotoBaller
