6 years agoThe Cleveland Browns and running back Duke Johnson agreed to a three-year, $15.6 million contract extension on Thursday. Johnson will get $7.7 million guaranteed and the $5 million average per year makes him a top-10 running back in terms of annual salary. The extension assures Johnson will remain in Cleveland, as he would have gone into the 2019 offseason as an unrestricted free agent had he and the team not hammered out a new deal. Johnson is one of the top dual-threat running backs in the league and should continue to see most of the work on passing downs in 2018.--Matt T - RotoBaller
