6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Jaime Garcia had an attractive matchup on Thursday against the Baltimore Orioles, and he certainly made the most of it in a no-decision. Garcia pitched six innings, allowing one earned run on four hits and three walks while striking out six. It was a nice bounce-back effort for Garcia, who was coming off surrendering four runs in only 1 2/3 innings against the Detroit Tigers, but there’s really nothing to see here. Garcia is a middling pitcher who is streamable in great matchups like this, but he should otherwise be left alone. After Thursday’s success, he still owns a bad 5.57 ERA and 1.56 WHIP on the year.--John Smith
