Two Straight Multi-Hit Games For Kendrys Morales
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays designated hitter Kendrys Morales isn’t having a great season, but perhaps after the last few days he’s ready to turn things around. In a 5-4 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday, Morales finished 2-for-5. It was his second straight game with multiple hits after going hitless in three straight (a span that saw him go 0-for-14). Morales is certainly due for some positive regression, so this is worth noting. He’s hitting the ball harder than he ever has in his career (44.2 percent hard-hit rate) with a BABIP that’s .054 points below his career mark. We aren’t advocating that you add Morales, but he’s worth watching, as there could be better times on the way.
